And to have some hold against Pouliot the fact that he isn't a quebec native is outright shameful.

At best, golden boy is an excellent third liner -- that's it. But somehow, because he's quebecois he is owed second line minutes? I liked golden boy, but he simply wasn't doing the job this year. He refused to do what was asked of him. I fear that he will face a harsh reality in Minnesota. He won't be given any favours. He will have to work to log minutes which he was unwilling to do here.

The habs are the only team to have to deal with this xenophobic bullshit. Make no mistake about it, that's what it is xenophobia. Blaming the Habs shortcomings on the lack of quebec natives in the team is ridiculous and makes me wonder how some of these guys got their jobs.CivilizedWormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13864740279335309278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703672817425686916.post-49464310942737020902009-11-26T09:11:55.148-05:002009-11-26T09:11:55.148-05:00I always read your take with great pleasure and ge...I always read your take with great pleasure and get upset when you disappear for long periods.

Everybody always seems to come back to the media and although I agree that lots of things can be ascribed to its door, I think we are all guilty of buying into it all.
me first as I spend a lot of time trawling through the internet to read about the Habs.

As fans we get too caught up in the history of the Habs and we are all guilty of toomuch expectations based on that history. and as a consequence, we can be hell on our players, our coaches and our GM.bea.habs.fannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703672817425686916.post-8859326290310600492009-11-26T00:43:03.331-05:002009-11-26T00:43:03.331-05:00great perspective Arpon, always a good read.great perspective Arpon, always a good read.Conor McKennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14796260731569066690noreply@blogger.com
