A new logo for The Daily Hab-it

Many thanks to Andy J. Smith, who used my profile photo to fashion a new logo for the site. Pretty snazzy, if you ask me.

He actually completed the illustration just as the playoffs began, and as many of you noticed, I got a little busy around that time and didn't really tend to the blog too much. Then I forgot he had done it, until reading his comments on my Plekanec post.

So thanks again Andy, and there's your work, in all its glory.

If any of you are interested in checking out some of Andy's other work, you can visit his website or his blog.

It's a great logo, but it says something totally different to me.

Puns with the word "Hab" are so Toronto/Ottawa bad journalism school, you really ought to think of simply calling your site "Arpon Basu on the Habs". You have the credibility and integrity to make it work, all the while getting your name out front.

Perhaps "Arpon Basu's Daily Hab-it" is a smoother transition. I hope you consider it.

It's you.

Thanks Robert, I appreciate the compliment. But really, I kind of like the amateurish nature of the name. It's grown on me.

Rob, Arpon, u guys have 2 of the best blogs out there. I look forward to reading both of you guys daily.

I disagree with Robert L.

Daily Hab-it is synonymous with Arpon Basu.

New logo is great, new pieces are greater.

@habsfan79 Actually, my hair now is a lot shorter. If I get contacts one day, then the logo changes
