"It's not a tumah"

Or at least, it's not a concussion.

Guy Carbonneau got a little testy with the media over the speculation regarding Josh Gorges and the wisdom of him returning to a game in which he apparently suffered a concussion after getting belted by Denis Gauther's elbow.

Carbonneau says Gorges did not suffer a concussion and that he didn't return in the third period because of something else, though he didn't say what that something else was. And he wonders why the media speculates?

In any case, I just saw Gorges taking the warm up and he'll be dressed tonight against the Penguins at the Bell Centre. He was supposed to be a game-time decision, but Carbonneau only has 18 healthy bodies available tonight and no one has been called up from Hamilton, so Gorges is in.

Patrice Brisebois is out with a "lower body" injury, while Guillaume Latendresse is out with the most obvious "upper body" injury ever, what with that left shoulder drooping over as he left the ice Sunday afternoon.
